Experience:I have over 30 years experience of working with children, young people, parents/carers and families in a variety of roles (youth worker, mentor, education welfare, parent and family support); previously volunteer Counsellor with Wellspring Counselling, North Somerset, also Youth Counsellor for Off the Record, Bristol, currently School Counsellor in two North Somerset schools; counsellor for children, adolescents and adults in private practice in North Somerset.  Issues: self esteem and confidence; anxiety, fears and phobias; school issues: exam stress, bullying, change and transition; sadness, mood swings, depression; self harm; suicidal thoughts; eating issues; abuse; family and personal relationship issues; parental stress; postnatal depression; bereavement and loss; coping with illness etc.
